Ever feel overwhelmed by the complexity of templates, regions and library items in Dreamweaver/UltraDev 4 or earlier? The confusion compounds with Dreamweaver MX due to the introduction of a more strict template engine and multiple new region types that can be used in Templates. Hence, the reason we wrote this book specifically targeted to Dreamweaver MX Templates, to alleviate that dazed and confused look that one might get trying to read the help files. ;) Although the book is a bit dated by now, the principles in this book are still pertinent to the newest DW8 release. The template engine has not changed a bit in terms of its operation or its characteristics.

Although we concentrate primarily on the many template features, we also provide information and instruction as related to library items and snippets, with a little bit of CSS and extension building as related to snippets on the side.
